70 firefighters tackling fire on south London’s Electric Avenue
Approximately 70 firefighters South London were called to fire, because a large smoke feather can be seen on a shopping street.
He joins the Blaze in Elecric Avenue in Brixton, which is seen to have started in a storage area behind the busy shopping street.
The Brixton Tube station was temporarily closed on Monday morning as a result of a fire.
Metropolitan police officers prevented people from accessing a number of police tapes while at the scene and the London Fire Brigade.
Firefighters can be seen at a few stores in Electric Avenue, trying to access a background where the fire starts.
A large smoke feather rising on the buildings on Monday morning can be seen.
In the meantime, a long -staircase fire engine can be seen in the Electric Lane, a small back street behind the street that hosts the Brixton market.
The London Fire Department said that there are currently the road closing in the region and that it has been evacuated from nearby buildings. The crew also asked people to keep their windows and doors closed because of their trip to smoke.
Firefighters until 9.40 this morning, Brixton, Peckham, Lambeth, West Norwood firefighters from the stage received about 25 calls.
However, the cause of the fire is currently unknown.
