Sharon Stone and Eva Longoria brought Hollywood glamor to the French Riviera as they stepped out for a night on the town during the Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday.

Sharon, 68, was the picture of elegance in her striking strapless gown with a voluminous bow and matching black belt that hugged her tiny waist.

For added impact, the Oscar-nominated actress layered a long coat over her arms with voluminous sleeves that trailed behind her in a strikingly long train.

She was also dripping in diamonds for her night out after dazzling on the red carpet at the Diamond premiere earlier in the evening.

51-year-old Eva, on the other hand, attracted attention with her emerald green dress that hugged every inch of her enviable body and her gold-strapped stilettos.

The Desperate Housewives star’s high-collared number boasted a chic satin skirt and a racy cutout on the back for an extra glam touch.

Sharon’s appearance at the premiere and fun-filled outing with Eva came as she tried to take her mind off the heartbreaking loss she had recently suffered, revealing that her brother had passed away last week.

The Basic Instinct star announced on Instagram that musician Mike Stone had died at the age of 74 after battling an illness for several years.

Sharing a photo of her late brother, Sharon wrote: ‘My eldest brother Mike Stone has passed away. After a long illness. “We wish him peace,” he said, signing the memorial with his and his three sons’ names: Roan, 25, Laird, 21, and Quinn, 19.

Like his sister, Mike was an actor as well as a musician, and appeared in many films throughout the 1990s, including Eraser and Malevolence.

He also appeared as a consultant opposite Sharon in the 1995 film The Quick And The Dead, starring Russell Crowe and Leonardo DiCaprio.

This marks another tragic family loss for the Casino star, as it comes just a year after his mother Dorothy Stone passed away in March at the age of 91. His father, Joseph William Stone II, had previously died in 2009 at the age of 81.

Sharing the sad news, Sharon said that Dorothy had been paralyzed for a long time and that she took care of her in her mansion in Beverly Hills in her last years.

Despite their ‘challenging’ relationship, the star said her mother taught her to ‘stand on her own two feet’.

Heartbreakingly, Sharon revealed that her mother’s last words to her were: ‘You talk so much, you make me want to commit suicide’ and said it was ‘a hard thing to get out of’, as people in the room laughed.

Mike’s death came just three years after the death of their other brother, Patrick Stone, aged 57; This incident occurred 18 months after her 11-month-old son River died of organ failure.

Patrick passed away in Pennsylvania in February 2023 after suffering a heart attack, which his wife Tasha described as his heart being ‘ripped out of my chest’ following the death of their son.

Sharon confirmed his passing on social media, expressing her immense pain at the sudden loss and describing her brother as a ‘gentle soul’ with a ‘wonderful sense of humour’.

His last remaining sibling is his younger sister Kelly Stone, 65, who founded the Planet Hope charity in the 90s to provide ‘outreach and resources’ to those in need, including members of the homeless community, victims of natural disasters and terminally ill children and their family members.
