Shashi Bhushan Kumar moves to Water Resources, Kantilal Dande gets FAC of Panchayat Raj

In a minor reshuffle in IAS officers on Saturday, May 9, 2026, the Andhra Pradesh government transferred Shashi Bhushan Kumar (1996 batch), Special Principal Secretary, Department of Panchayat Raj, Rural Development and Rural Water Supply, as Special Principal Secretary, Water Resources Department and removed G. Sai Prasad (1991 batch) from the post of Full Additional Charge (FAC).

Kantilal Dande, Principal Secretary, Department of Environment and Forest, has been placed in the FAC of the post of Special Principal Secretary, Department of Panchayat Raj, Rural Development and Rural Water Supply, until further orders as per the Government Order issued by Principal Secretary G. Sai Prasad.

Mr. Shashi Bhushan Kumar was appointed Principal Secretary, Department of Panchayat Raj, Rural Development and Rural Water Supply in June 2024, in the first major reshuffle of the Chandrababu Naidu-led government after taking over the post from G. Sai Prasad at that time.
