‘She literally has no shame’: Friends reveal the ’embarrassing’ depths Made in Chelsea’s Binky Felstead has gone to for a freebie. As KATIE HIND exposes the OTHER stars with a secret grotesque love of ligging…

Posing poolside with a glass of champagne in her beautifully manicured hand, Made In Chelsea’s Binky Felstead couldn’t look more relaxed.

She’s in Dubai with her wealthy husband Max Darnton and their three young children, clearly making the most of everything the luxury five-star Banyan Leaf hotel and stunning beach have to offer.

How do I know? Like every one of her 1.4 million Instagram followers, all I had to do was pick up my phone.

In fact, almost every aspect of 35-year-old Binky’s holiday is laid out clearly, with the caption: ‘I thought something was missing… but turns out I just needed a holiday.’

Yet this holiday – like many others Binky has taken over the past 12 months – was a gift given to him in exchange for a positive post on his social media account. In recent months, she, Max and their children have been booked with stays at a five-star Boca Raton hotel and private members club in Florida, as well as a trip to Disney World in Orlando.

He made a brief stop in New York, where he stayed at the elegant Lowell hotel and went on a cruise with P&O that took him to various places, including Malta. This was followed by a small welcome break at The Nest, their luxury glamping safari lodge in Lincolnshire. Oh, and not to forget a stay at the £500-a-night Beaverbrook hotel in Surrey Hills, plus a sojourn at the Four Seasons in Hampshire; Here, she enjoys a free massage and “a few spicy margarines” while her children go horseback riding.

Even the most cynical person might be shocked to learn just how many aspects of Binky Felstead’s life are waiting for free.

Binky was recently called out for asking the owner of the luxury cake business for a 'gifted' yellow train cake for her toddler Wilder's third birthday in exchange for an Instagram post.

All is well and good, you may think. But even the most cynical person might be shocked to learn that Binky has many more aspects of his life waiting for free.

Step forward Reshmi Bennett owns luxury cake business Anges de Sucre in West London.

On Friday, she told Binky to ask for a ‘flavored’ yellow train cake for her toddler Wilder’s third birthday. The cake was ‘big enough for ten people’ and she wanted it free in exchange for posting a photo of it on Instagram.

Humorously sticking the knife in, Reshmi set up a fake GoFundMe campaign called ‘Raise Funds for Binky Felstead’s 3-Year-Old’s Birthday Cake’ with a target of £1.4 million, citing Binky’s 1.4 million followers.

Accompanying the AI image of the requested train, Reshmi shared: ‘We recently received a lovely request from the Binky Felstead team for a very special cake; A yellow train design for his soon-to-be three-year-old son.

‘We were really excited. Kids’ cakes are some of our favorite cakes, and this one was a delight for a very popular reality TV star.

‘But there was just one small problem… The recommended payment method was an Instagram story. Now we fully understand that times are tough, especially for influencers…

‘Unfortunately our energy supplier is very old school and continues to insist on taking payment in real money rather than exposure or interaction.’

Even more embarrassing for Binky, it was revealed that he approached the owner of Funfetti London in 2021 and asked the baker to make him a wedding and birthday cake in exchange for posts on his Instagram account. The pastry chef claims he duly obliged, only to find himself as a ghost. Even travel expenses of £75 were denied.

‘Life is a dream for Binky,’ says one of his former colleagues. ‘He loves a freebie. In fact, you would think he doesn’t like paying for anything. When you look at all those holidays, you wonder if he has time left to work. It’s getting disgusting these days. Reality stars expect small companies to give them freebies in exchange for vouchers.’

But a spokesman for Binky said: ‘Deals like this are widely used in this industry and are often mutually beneficial.’

In fact, Binky is not alone in his desire to make money. Friends and Made In Chelsea stars Ollie and Gareth Locke, who complained about their mental health yesterday after failing to pay the £25,000 rent on their £4million house in Chelsea, are known for their love of freebies.

So is Millie Mackintosh, a Made In Chelsea alumna. Other big leaguers include Denise Van Outen, Stacey Solomon and former Strictly star Pete Wicks.

“These people think they’re beyond paying for anything,” says a showbiz representative. ‘They think things should be given to them for free. No one seems to see how strange this looks. They’re just scammers, more or less.’

Sources close to Binky lectured me yesterday on how willing smaller companies are to work with him for publicity. They said they could not understand why Reshmi turned down such an opportunity.

Yet the truth is that Binky tends to get what he wants. The renovation of his new home is proof that he is rarely rejected.

His bedroom, living room, dining room and barn are outfitted with furniture from Oka, a company he’s mentioned many times on social media.

The downstairs toilet is courtesy of Drummonds Bathrooms, and the bathroom tiles, flooring and paint are from Fired Earth.

It’s unlikely she’ll be able to afford much of her own groceries either, as she has a deal with M&S, which supplies her with most of her meals.

‘Nice if you can get it,’ thought one of his friends. ‘He really has no shame.’

When I called Binky’s spokesperson to see if he wanted to comment, he told me he was on vacation. He didn’t specify whether he paid for it, but it would undoubtedly become apparent if he posted about it on Instagram.
