Sherrone Moore is returning to court in case related to his firing as Michigan football coach
ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — Former University of Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore He appears in court for the first time since then. accused of vengeful acts against a woman shortly after he was fired for having an affair with her.
Moore, 39, faces three charges, including home invasion and stalking. He pleaded not guilty to the charges and was required to wear a monitoring device while on bail.

An Ann Arbor-area judge scheduled a hearing for Thursday to get an update on the case, six weeks after Moore was fired and arrested. The next step will be to schedule another hearing to determine if there is sufficient evidence to hold a hearing on the felony charge.
According to authorities, Moore broke into the woman’s home on Dec. 10 and accused her of losing her job that day, even grabbing butter knives and kitchen shears and threatening to kill herself.
Washtenaw County assistant prosecutor Kati Rezmierski said Moore told the woman, a football staff member, “My blood is on your hands.”
