Top US Fema official claims to have teleported to a Waffle House before | Trump administration
A far-right conspiracy theorist who became a senior official at the US Federal Emergency Management Agency (Fema) claims he was once teleported to a Waffle House.
Gregg Phillips, who was appointed to lead Fema’s response and recovery office in December, has spoken about involuntary teleportation on “multiple podcasts.” CNN reported Friday.
In a January 2025 podcast appearance, Phillips claimed that while he was driving, his car was “lifted” and transported to a ditch near a church 40 miles away. But Phillips warned about the dangers of teleportation.
“Teleporting isn’t fun,” he said, “You know it’s happening but you can’t do anything about it and so you just go, you just continue the journey. And wow, what an incredible adventure it was.”
