It was Justin’s first day at work. Sigachi Industries in Sanggarereddy only one hour left, a large explosion in the factory on 30 June killed dozens of killed and immersed their families into an uncertainty.
Justin is just out of 20 and a medical laboratory technology course, and is still listed as ‘missing’ in official police and medical records.
“His father and I told him he was very young to hurry to a job. But his mother was deported after he died. He went with three friends to get information about the work on Saturday. He left around 7 in the morning on Monday, his mother’s aunt Sujatha, eight months pregnant, did the factory’s tours to switch. Im I went to work before that.
Sujatha, a staff nurse at a state hospital in Banjara Hills, took over the care of Justin and two sisters after their mother passed away. “In August, it will take two years since we lost it. Now we lost Justin, or he says.
It was also the first thing for 26 -year -old Rahul Sharma as ‘missing’. The native of Uttar Pradesh has been working in the quality control department of the unit for more than 10 months after completing his MSC. On Sunday before the explosion, he told his uncle that he hoped for an increase after completing a year. His uncle Ashok Sharma recalls, “He wanted to start looking for another job if he didn’t.”
Rahul has not visited the house in Varanasi since he started. “He was planning to come in November, we don’t know if he’s going back now, Ash Ashok adds while he’s playing the phone. “This is my sister Rahul’s mother. He calls me for updates. What am I going to say to him, or he asks.
Ashok ran to Haydarabad with the oldest flight from Mumbai as soon as he heard the explosion. The news reached the family through Rahul’s friend Ashish, who completed his shift just a few minutes before the explosion. Neither the company nor the police contact the family.
Ashok stays in the guest stay in which Rahul lived with his colleagues from the factory and visits the site over and over again and who is desperate for information. Rahul’s other two relatives – Ajay from Varanasi Uesh and Maharashtra – came here. Ashok said, “We gave our DNA samples on Tuesday evening and asked to wait at least 24 hours. But how do you explain how to wait for your heart, Ash says Ashok.
Sujatha, about the lack of official words from the company or the police. “The father of Justin, who works in the oxygen industry in Patancheru, heard a friend’s explosion. We ran there, but a single official did not stand out to talk to us,” he says.
