In 2022, Young became the first female chef of the orchestra, and for 30 years since the first time it directed SSO for the first time next year. A lot has changed, at least not a sense of self -filling.

Young, one of the most optional conductors in the world, separates the time between Europe and Australia, but is always happy to come home.
“I am proud of Sydney, orchestram, my organization, and our people, because we are one of the last orchestras of the world playing four concert weeks.
