Six Arrested For Dangerous Bike Stunts

Hyderabad: Rajendranagar task force personnel and Attapur police arrested six persons, including minors, for dangerous stunts and reckless driving on public roads on Saturday. Task force DCP Raghunath Vaibhav Gaikwad said they were creating inconvenience, causing panic among the public and endangering the lives of commuters and pedestrians. Police seized two two-wheelers and six mobile phones from these vehicles.
It was stated that those arrested were Syed Shahid, Sheikh Naseer Hussain, Shaik Junaid, Abdul Samad, Mohammed Arbaz Hussain Khan and a minor. Four of them were earlier involved in a minor bike demonstration case under Bahadurpura police station limits, police said.
The defendants committed vehicle stunts such as wheelchair racing, zig-zag driving, triple driving, and driving without safety precautions, causing sparks to be emitted from their vehicles, creating a nuisance and posing a serious threat to passengers. Appropriate legal action has been initiated and incriminating videos recorded by the culprits have been seized, the DCP added.
