Six months since the Bondi terror attack, my hope is waning

This weekend marks six months since the Bondi attack on Australia’s Jewish community at Chabad of Chanukah by the Sea. In the six months since, my life and the lives of Jews in this country have changed forever.

I don’t think I could relate to Nomi, who, on December 13, 2025, the day before the attack, was unaware that the Australia in which her children would grow up would be very different from the Australia in which she grew up.
