May 10 (Reuters) – Six bodies were found in a train car in Laredo, Texas, on Sunday, police said.
Laredo Police Superintendent Joe Baeza said a Union Pacific employee found them at a train station in a remote location near the Mexican border, and police and firefighters later confirmed their deaths.
Police have not determined how they died, Baeza said. He said the investigation was continuing.

He said there were no survivors.
Police did not say where these people came from.
Multiple fatalities on trains and tractor trailers not far from the US-Mexico border have also involved migrants, including a 2022 incident in which 53 people were found dead in an abandoned truck with faulty air conditioning on the outskirts of San Antonio.
