Skircoat Lodge Halifax children’s home abuse prompts 135 compensation claims

Earlier this year, a jury found the former house manager, now 93 and living in Birmingham, sexually abused six children over three decades. He was previously convicted of sexually abusing eight girls in 2001 and sentenced to seven years in prison.
