FIRST ON FOX: The family of a slain Louisiana police officer will have a chance to see President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address Tuesday night after being invited by House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La.
The congressional leader will bring Marc Tyler Brock’s wife and fiancée to Trump’s prime time address, Fox News Digital learned Monday.
“It is my great honor to host Vivian Police Officer Marc Brock’s mother and fiancée, Shirley Brock-Dennis and Kambreigh Smith, as my guests at the State of the Union address. In November, Officer Brock was tragically killed in the line of duty,” Johnson told Fox News Digital. he said.

The speaker called Brock “an extraordinary young man who touched countless lives through his service and volunteer activities” and said his death was a “somber reminder” of the risks law enforcement takes every day.
“I am grateful that Shirley and Kambreigh will join us and help share Officer Brock’s story with the country,” Johnson said.
Brock, 25, was killed late last year while trying to serve an arrest warrant against a man accused of cyberstalking in Vivian, La., at the time. local outlet KLFY.

Vivian is in Louisiana’s 4th congressional district, which Johnson represents.

Brock was part of a six-man team serving an arrest warrant when he was shot through a closed door in November 2025 and was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
