Slow Horses star Gary Oldman to receive knighthood

Oscar winning actor Gary Oldman will be among those who accept honor when buying a knight at Windsor Castle.

Born in London, the film star 67 was known for his drama services in King’s birthday honor.

He is known for his versatile acting style that depicts a series of figures from former Prime Minister Winston Churchill to Sex Pistols Member Sid Vicious.

One of his newer and most prominent roles is the experienced Mi5 Agent Jackson Lamb of British writer Mick Herron’s Slough House book series Slow Horses.
