CMA Awards 2025 Winners: Rising star Ella Langley takes home first trophy for duet with Riley Green on country’s biggest night

Ella Langley and Riley Green were the first winners announced for the song You Look Like You Love Me during the 59th annual CMA Awards for Single of the Year at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday night.

The awards show’s leading nominees included Ella Langley, Megan Moroney and Lainey Wilson — who were each nominated for six awards; he was also hosting hearings.

“Welcome to the CMA Awards,” Wilson said at the entrance. ‘I grew up in the village of Baskin, Louisiana, population 175.

‘Country music has been a huge part of my world since I was a little girl. It was more than a species, it was a way of life.

Wilson said: ‘Growing up in Baskin my family had two things we never missed; It was the bull riding and the CMA awards and if we were going to miss one it wouldn’t have happened.’
