The young couple showed how they set their goals for the next year in their 2023 planning video. Bailey said he didn’t expect the video to go viral.

“I said, ‘I’m going to take the camera and film all of this and post it online and see if people can use it and maybe use it to help them in their own marriages and adjustment,’” Bailey said.

Saying that he had an unstable childhood, Bailey also shared other planning videos with his wife that inspired the beginning of his career. businesses Planning Playbook and Planning Circle.

“I had a pretty tough upbringing,” Bailey said. “My mom had me when I was 15, my dad wasn’t in my life and we were pretty unstable…we were moving around a lot.”

Bailey wants his story to show others that if he can achieve the American Dream, they can too, and he has learned that life is all about taking risks.

“After going through all of this, I discovered that taking risks is actually like a superpower, right? It’s like leaving your house and doing something new that you’ve never seen before,” Bailey said.

Bailey added that pursuing higher education was also risky because her parents didn’t even have a high school diploma.

“I started finding creative ways to weave that into my content, talking about my story, visuals and B-roll of my past and present, what I’m doing now, and posting on social media. And it started helping a lot of people. And now I’m fully committed to it,” he said.

Bailey hopes the context of marriage demonstrates the value of commitment and that “two is better than one.” He also described faith as his mainstay.

“All the circumstances I went through as a child, I always, always felt like I was covered up. I always felt like I was safe. Why? Because I knew God allowed me to go through this for a reason,” he said.
