Software Engineer Dies by Suicide in Peerzadiguda

Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, a woman allegedly died by suicide after running naked through the streets and jumping into a lake in Peerzadiguda in Hyderabad.
According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Tejaswini, daughter of Vakkulagaddi Eshwar Rao and Aruna, natives of Devapalli village in Andhra Pradesh’s Vizianagaram district. Tejaswini was working as a software employee in Bengaluru but resigned from her job six months ago. While his father lives in Visakhapatnam, he reportedly stays with his mother in a rented house in Shankarnagar Colony in Peerzadiguda.
According to reports, Tejaswini and her mother had spent Friday evening searching for a house in Miyapur as they were planning to move from Peerzadiguda.
Police said Tejaswini locked her mother’s room from outside around 2.30am on Saturday morning, grabbed a sari and ran naked onto the streets. CCTV footage reportedly showed him stopping at the Berappa Temple where he prayed before continuing running. He then allegedly jumped into Peerzadiguda lake.
On Saturday morning, Aruna woke up and found herself locked in her room. He asked for help, and his neighbors heard him and opened the door. When he couldn’t find his daughter at home, he started looking for her. Tejaswini’s body was later found in the lake.
HYDRAA and Disaster Response Force (DRF) personnel recovered the body from the lake. The police registered the case and took the body to another place for autopsy.
According to police, Tejaswini’s mother stated that her daughter suffered from mental health problems and frequently had disturbing dreams. Police said that they are investigating the incident in all its aspects, and the exact cause of the incident will be clear after the investigation is completed.
