Son of El Chapo pleads guilty in US drug trafficking case | Joaquín ‘El Chapo’ Guzmán
The son of “El Chapo king, the bad Mexican drug king, was found guilty of US drug trafficking accusations on Friday and became the first in a defense agreement of the sons of the drug master.

Lichtman said he did not know that the case against Joaquín Guzmán López was “completely different”, said he could not be solved by a defense agreement.

Laurie Levenson, a law professor at Loyola Law Faculty and former US lawyer in Los Angeles, said that Ovidio Guzmán López was guilty and said that he might have saved other family members ”.

Levenson described the defense as a “big step for the US. The Government and Ovidio Guzmán López could provide a yol a roadmap on how to define members of the cartel ”.
“This is big,” he said. “The best way to remove the cartel is to learn from an internal operations and that is what they get from cooperation.”
