Royal fans love Princess Charlotte’s ‘kind’ Christmas Day gesture | Royal | News

Royal fans were once again impressed by Princess Charlotte’s actions. The 10-year-old wowed the crowd at Sandringham; some described her as “kind-hearted” and compared her to the late Queen.

As the royal family celebrated Christmas by hugging well-wishers and wowing the crowds, Princess Charlotte stole the show. The young royal, who wowed viewers by playing the piano at Princess Kate’s Christmas carol concert on ITV last night, joined her family at Sandringham today.

Princess Charlotte joined her siblings and wider family, including the King and Queen, for the annual Christmas Day church service.

Walking alongside her mother, Kate, Charlotte wore a grown-up light brown coat with dark brown trim along with the now-signature bow in her hair.

Enjoying a traditional church service, Charlotte, along with her brothers Prince George and Prince Louis, met the crowd who came to greet them, and the trio received a handful of gifts.

The young princess was seen chatting to Mike and Zara Tindall’s daughters Mia and Lena before greeting the crowds.

Charlotte was later seen laden with flowers and gifts, while the future King George was also seen holding a soft toy like his little brother Louis.

And in an adorable moment, Charlotte hugged a royal fan and the sweet moment was caught on camera.

In a video shared on X, one fan wrote: “Heartwarming video of Princess Charlotte hugging a well-wisher today.”

Commenting on the video, one person wrote: “They have excellent role models with both their parents.”

Another wrote: “Such a childish angel.”

“Princess Charlotte is so cute,” another wrote.

The Welsh family’s Christmas Day celebrations come after Kate and Princess Charlotte’s pre-recorded Christmas piano duet was broadcast last night.

Mother and daughter teamed up to play a piece they know well by Scottish composer Erland Cooper at Kate’s Christmas carol concert.

Princess Kate and Charlotte’s piano performance was for the Together at Christmas concert at Westminster Abbey on December 5, and was not featured at the live event as it was pre-recorded last week – but was broadcast as part of the ITV1 screening of the ceremony on Christmas Eve.
