South Korean delegation wants Gadag delared as ‘peace district’

South Korean -based Global Peace Organization, Paradise Culture, World Peace, Lighting of Light (HWPL) delegates visited Mahatma Gandhi Rural Development and Panchayat Raj University in Gadag and met with the Minister of Law, Justice, Human Rights and Parliament.
During his interactions with the Minister, Jaden Lee, Director of the HWPL Global-O3 Branch Woonam Kim Branch Manager and Director of the International Legal Department, approved him about the global peace initiatives of the organization.

Responding to the request of the delegation, Mr. Patil said that the Gadag Region has long been known as one of the most peaceful regions and that Karnataka is known as one of the most peaceful states in the country. “The government will address the demand from HWPL and take appropriate steps,” he said.
The minister stressed that world peace is necessary for people to live in harmony and peace. “India has always been a nation -loving nation, and the principle of non -violence taught by Mahatma Gandhi is our guiding light. Many countries in the world should follow this example.”
MGRDPR University Vice President Surresh Nadogoudar, various faculty members and officials were present.
