Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s one last ‘passport’ into the Royal Family | Royal | News

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s daughters are his “only passport” into the Royal Family following his humiliating exile, a royal expert has claimed. The disgraced former Duke of York found himself stripped of all titles and honours, after the King sacked them following ever-mounting details of his links to convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Andrew has also agreed to leave Royal Lodge in Windsor, where he has lived for nearly 20 years, and the move is expected to take place early this year. The king’s brother was kicked out of royal celebrations at Sandringham this year and was photographed driving alone in Windsor while the rest of the royal family spent Christmas Day in Norfolk.
But their daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, made a U-turn and joined the rest of the royal family at Sandringham; despite reports that they may or may not be able to do so.
Now a royal expert has claimed that the princesses’ father would probably want them gone because that’s allegedly the only way to find out what happened with the royal family.
Royal commentator and author Ingrid Seward said: Sun: “I don’t think Beatrice and Eugenie have a choice. Andrew told them you have to leave.”
“Because he wants to keep up with the action. A, he wants to know what’s going on. B, he wants to know what people are saying about him.”
“And he always said that, and Fergie said, ‘girls are my passport.’
“They are now Andrew’s only passport into the royal family. And I’m absolutely sure he convinced them.”
Royal expert Charlie Rae agreed, saying the disgraced former prince wanted to “keep an eye on what’s going on”.
He added: “He’s not invited, so he’s not at the table anymore,” he continued.
“So one of the first things that would happen when they got back would be Andrew saying on the phone, right, who said what?”
Andrew is expected to move to a smaller property at the King’s Sandringham Estate, with some reports claiming the move will take place by Easter.
He has always denied any wrongdoing.
