Govt approves upgradation of Numaligarh Refinery to Navratna CPSE

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has approved the upgrade of Numaligarh Refinery Ltd (NRL) to Navratna CPSE, making it the 27th Navratna among the Central Public Sector Enterprise.

NRL is a CPSE of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas with an annual turnover of Rs 25.147 billion and a net profit of Rs 1.608 billion for the Financial Year 2024-25.
