Spencer Pratt’s quest to positively impact Los Angeles went unnoticed by his sister.
Stephanie Pratt expressed concern about her brother’s mayoral campaign and claimed his intentions weren’t all that pure.
In a series of posts shared on X, Stephanie noted that Spencer has become a vital asset to the community more than a year after the devastating fires in Los Angeles. But he assured his followers that “The Hills” star was just trying to stay relevant.

Pratt and his wife Heidi Montag passed away Pacific Palisades house During the deadly wildfires in Los Angeles in January 2025. Pratt said his parents also lost their homes in the fires.
“Spencer did a great job on the fences,” Stephanie wrote. “But Los Angeles does not need another unqualified and inexperienced mayor. A vote for him is a vote for stupidity.”
He continued, “He’s just trying to stay famous and sell his memoirs, don’t be fooled.”
Stephanie mused on an “ideal world” in which the Palisades had its own “mayor and police department,” but she was more interested in the current issues plaguing Los Angeles.

“I’m worried about Los Angeles. I have no problem playing government, but our city needs help,” Stephanie wrote.

“Everyone says I should support him no matter what. I’m sorry he beat me up and hospitalized me when I was 18. So no he doesn’t belong to the government. Run the fence all you want, it’s not Los Angeles.”
“Leopards never move. Stay on the fence, Spencer.”
The “Man You Love to Hate” author, a vocal rival of current Mayor Karen Bass, launched her Los Angeles mayoral campaign last month. He told Fox News Digital that he often finds himself standing alone in public, but the support he receives behind closed doors tells a very different story.

“I know real stars support what I do, because I’ve been in restaurants, they sit at the table and spend 20 minutes asking me questions and thanking me about everything I know,” Pratt said. “But these people know that if they do this publicly, they risk losing the careers some of them have worked 30 years to have.”
Pratt said he understands the risks associated with public speaking and does not blame those who choose to remain silent.

“So I don’t judge them,” he added. “The same is true for firefighters who cannot reveal the truth due to retaliation. There is no difference between public servants and celebrities who know what is happening. Everyone sees what is happening, but everyone is afraid to talk.”
The reality star said the publication of her memoir and her decision to run for mayor came at the same time, out of her control.
“The timing of the mayor and the book; it’s God’s timing because the book actually came together right after the fires “So, the writing goes on all year long,” he told Fox News Digital more than a year ago.

As the draft took shape, Pratt said he was watching the political landscape closely and growing increasingly frustrated.
“Then when I saw that no one had run against Mayor Karen Bass for the last month, I had to do it,” he said. “Again, this is God’s timing.”
