Spencer Pratt threatens to leave Los Angeles if he loses mayoral race

Spencer Pratt’s love for Los Angeles may only extend into the primaries.
Pratt, 42, admitted his time in the City of Angels could be over if exit polls don’t align with his mayoral bid.
While chatting with our friend from Los Angeles Adam Carolla From her burned-out lot in Pacific Palisades, the reality star said she was only interested in rebuilding her home if she won the race.
“I’m going to win the lawsuit against Gavin Newsom’s state park, and with that money, if I become mayor of Los Angeles, I’m going to rebuild it,” Pratt admitted.

“If Karen Bass is re-elected or Nithya [Raman] “If I’m elected, I’ll give up trying to live in Los Angeles.”
Pratt further escalated his threat and said that once he won the case, he would rebound to find a new American Dream.
“I’m going to take this money from Newsom state park and LADWP and go somewhere where my kids don’t have to see naked zombies and I can live the ultimate American dream somewhere,” Pratt said.

“But if these people are in charge, I’m not going to rebuild, because what would I be putting the money into?”
Representatives for Pratt did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
Pratt, his wife, Heidi Montag, and more than a dozen property owners accused the city of Los Angeles and the Department of Water and Power of damaging their homes in a lawsuit filed earlier this year.
In the lawsuit obtained by Fox News Digital, the plaintiffs accused LADWP of “making a conscious decision to operate the water supply system while the reservoir was drained and unusable as a ‘cost-saving’ measure.”
The “Hills” star has been a vocal champion for Los Angeles residents since losing her home during the deadly Palisades wildfire, launching her mayoral campaign in January with a focus on unseating incumbent Karen Bass over mishandling of the fires.

Although Pratt is a registered Republican, the Los Angeles mayoral election is officially nonpartisan. If no candidate exceeds 50% in the primary election on June 2, the top two candidates will face each other in November.
Fresh from a star-studded fundraiser hosted by David Foster and Katharine McPhee, Pratt admitted there was a “mind-boggling” list of influential figures backing the campaign to save his city.

“The mind-boggling list of movie stars, directors, studio heads; these are my supporters,” Pratt said. he told the “Ruthless Podcast” earlier this month. “I understand why they haven’t gone public yet. When I become mayor, I’ll get support from the industry to bring this back. It’s all there.”
Following the devastating fires of 2025, Pratt became a leading advocate for victims.
“My goal was just for these people to go to jail,” Pratt said. “Then when they didn’t go to jail and I saw that it was business as usual, that’s when I decided the only way to stop these people was to take their power away from them.”

Pratt grew up around the democratsbut before the devastating fires he did not consider himself a political figure.

“I’ve never posted a single political thing in my life,” the former The Hills star said. “The only thing I’ve ever done, politically speaking, is one day I took a paparazzi prep photo with a Sarah Palin shirt on, and the next day I took a paparazzi photo with an Obama shirt just to get multiple tabloid shots.”

On April 21, Pratt wrote to Carolla, “The Adam Carolla ShowPodcast for episode titled “”Spencer Pratt Gets Adam Carolla’s Endorsement for L.A. Mayor!”

During the segment, Pratt and Carolla discussed what they described as homelessness, crime, and failed leadership in Los Angeles, while Pratt outlined plans to “bring common sense” to City Hall.

“We have a bunch of Marxist, socialist back-and-forths who are destroying this city,” Carolla said.
Carolla later shared a photo of herself with Pratt on Instagram, writing: “This man will save Los Angeles. @spencerprat. I have my full support for mayor!”
