SRM-AP launches AI-integrated PG programmes in Economics, Psychology

SRM University Vice-Chancellor-AP Ch. Satish Kumar on Wednesday highlighted the growing importance of integrating domain knowledge with emerging technologies.

Speaking to the media after the official launch of the artificial intelligence integrated master’s program, Prof. Economy and Master’s Psychology programs of the Easwari School of Liberal Arts (ESLA) at the University. Satish Kumar said that the future belongs to those who combine strong domain expertise with artificial intelligence capabilities. Understanding the discipline alone, whether economics or psychology, is no longer enough; Students also need to be equipped to apply AI tools for analysis, prediction and decision-making, he said. He added that the university was among the first to implement this level of integration in graduate education to prepare students for real-world challenges and future uncertainties.
