St Helens given police escort after ‘terrorist threat’ made during Hull KR match | Super League

St Helens, the club called the “terror threat ında 20-12 Super League semi-final playoff defeat was sent to Instagram accounts after the Hull Kr’s Sewell Group Craven Park was forced to leave the police escort.

The club spokesman said: “The club had a threat of terrorism sent to Saints’s Instagram account.

“St Helens was reported to the place security guard and talked to Hull Kr’s place security guard. They are seriously handled.”

Neither Saints nor Hull Kr is expected to comment more at this stage, the issue is now in the hands of the police who are now investigating the threat – but both clubs are believed to take the issue seriously.

Rovers won the game to proceed to a second Super League Grand Final, which they will encounter with the champion Wigan Warriors, defending the Old Trafford next Saturday.
