St John of God Murdoch hospital forced to close emergency department after vehicle smashes into building

St John of God Murdoch was forced to close its emergency department after a vehicle crashed into the building.
A Department of Fire and Emergency Services spokesman told The Western Australian that the crash happened at 10.13am on Thursday.
Two crews from Fremantle Fire Station are at the scene of the accident.
DFES officials confirmed no one was trapped in the building or vehicle.
In the statement shared by the hospital on social media, it was stated that the private emergency room was “temporarily closed”.
“The nearest 24/7 Emergency Department is across the road at Fiona Stanley Hospital,” they said.
