Stacey Solomon ditches her wedding ring again during tense day out with Joe Swash as it emerges they’re not legally married

Photos of Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash portraying happy families during a day out last week emerged after it was revealed the couple were not legally married.

The couple took a family day out to Port Lympne Safari Park in Kent last week to celebrate Stacey’s niece’s birthday.

They were joined by Stacey’s Influencer sister Jemma Solomon and her family, but the couple looked nervous as they strolled through the park with their children.

While Joe’s wedding ring was visible, Stacey was once again not wearing her ring.

It was revealed on Wednesday that the couple, who held a wedding ceremony at their £1.2 million home Pickle Cottage in July 2022, never made the marriage legally binding.

Stacey, who was 36 at the time, said they planned to register their marriage after the wedding because their home did not have a civil ceremony licence.

While Joe’s wedding ring was visible, Stacey once again went without her ring at Port Lympne Safari Park in Kent last week.

However, three and a half years later, TV’s golden couple still has not formalized their union.

The bombshell comes just two weeks after the television personality was grilled about her relationship with Joe, 44, after she was seen without her wedding ring.

A source told The Sun: ‘They always thought about doing the legal part but with six kids and busy diaries they just couldn’t get around to it, life got in the way.

‘Stacey and Joe clearly knew garden weddings were illegal and were upfront about it.’

This news may come as a surprise to fans who watched the couple on BBC reality show Stacey & Joe.

He followed their lives with their children; Rex, six, Rose, four, and Belle, three. Stacey is also mother to Zachary, 18, and Leighton, 13, from previous relationships. Joe is also the father of Harry from a previous relationship.

Stacey also has lucrative family fashion ranges with Asda and Primark.

An insider said: ‘The fact that they have invested in an excellent film and the companies and even TV executives are completely dishonest will definitely attract attention.’

Joe’s ringer was ringing as he took time out of the day to make a phone call to Stacey’s sister Jemma to wish her daughter a happy birthday.

The couple, who held a wedding ceremony in 2023, looked nervous on the family day, where rumors about their relationship continued.

As the group explored the park by golf cart, they were joined by Stacey’s Influencer sister Jemma Solomon and her family.

Following the wedding, Stacey opened up about the state of their relationship at the time. He said: ‘To legally get married anywhere, that place must have a ‘civil ceremony’ licence.

‘One of the conditions of this license is that the venue be made ‘ready’ for ceremonies.

‘We couldn’t choose this option as this is our private family home and we needed to keep it that way.

Stacey, 36 at the time, said they planned to register their marriage after the wedding because their home did not have a civil ceremony licence.

‘So we have a relaxed private celebration in front of our closest friends and family and a ceremony that shows our love for each other.

‘Then we will register our marriage legally.’

At their home ceremony, TOWIE star James Argent’s The Arg Band gave a romantic performance while Mrs Hinch took on the role of bridesmaid.

Fellow Loose Woman Linda Robson, 64, and former TOWIE star Ricky Rayment, 31, were part of the wedding party.

A source close to the couple told the Daily Mail at the time: ‘Stacey and Joe had the best day of their lives.

‘It was exactly what they hoped for, the weather was wonderful, they had a pleasant day with their children and families.

‘As well as maintaining strong Jewish values, it was important to Stacey that it was a modern and fun day out for everyone.

Following the wedding, Stacey opened up about the state of their relationship at the time. He said: ‘To legally get married anywhere, that place must have a ‘civil ceremony’ licence.’

‘They always wanted their wedding to be just for them, at home, and keeping their celebrations intimate did not disappoint.’

Two weeks ago Stacey appeared on This Morning and set the record straight about her ‘marriage’ to Joe after sparking speculation by removing her wedding ring.

Presenter Ben Shephard said: ‘There are crazy rumors going around about you two at the moment… What’s going on there Stace?’

Stacey replied: ‘What are they? Continue. ‘There’s a new rumor every week!’

Ben explained: ‘You didn’t wear your ring. Could there be some problems?’

‘You know, I’m so bad. I don’t read any of this.

‘Does anyone actually do this anymore?’ Stacey asked.

‘But yeah, we just… Didn’t I wear my ring? ‘He probably took it off to go to the toilet or something.’

Ben continued: ‘There’s a lot going on at the moment, thanks to the lake, the plan for the lake is starting to come to fruition.

‘He was talking to us the other day…’

Stacey joked: ‘Maybe I dropped my ring in the lake during our wedding!’

When fans first started speculating that the couple might be in bad shape, they were seen arguing on the latest series of their show, Stacey & Joe.

The couple first appeared on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2010. They met on the set of the movie. But Stacey and Joe didn’t start dating until 2016, and moved in together two years later.

The pair clashed over dad Joe inexplicably ‘disappearing’ in an episode, with Stacey hanging up on Joe after branding him ‘unusual’ and slamming him for ‘overreacting’ in a heated parenting argument.

But the pair admitted they didn’t want to end the argument as other couples were tempted to do.

Joe previously said: ‘So many people make their lives look perfect on Instagram. It is our responsibility to show the truth, the highs and the lows.

‘Everything is not a bed of roses. ‘We argue sometimes.’

While Stacey added: ‘What you see is what you get. What we’ve learned about each other is that we’re not a perfect couple.

‘We never said we were the perfect couple, but you have to take care of yourself too, which is something that doesn’t happen very often.’

News about Stacey and Joe’s ‘marriage’ comes after it was revealed Loose Women co-star Olivia Attwood’s marriage to Bradley Dack was never legally binding.
