Stalin greets Kamal Haasan on his birthday

CHENNAI: DMK president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Friday extended birthday greetings to Makkal Needhi Maiam leader and Rajya Sabha MP Kamal Haasan.

In a social media post, Mr Stalin praised Mr Haasan for taking Tamil cinema to international standards. He said the actor was trying to save the country from “destructive fascist forces.” He wished Mr. Haasan to serve for a long time in Parliament and in the world of cinema.

On another occasion, Chief Minister PS Raman visited the Prime Minister at the Prime Minister’s camp office in Chennai on the occasion of his birthday on Friday.
