Starmer blocks Trump from using UK bases for Iran ‘obliteration’ plan | World | News

Britain is preparing to block Trump’s access to British bases over his feared ‘four-hour’ campaign of destruction against Iran.

According to The i Paper, Starmer will not allow the US President to use RAF bases for attacks on Iranian bridges or power plants.

Trump’s latest warning threatens to unleash “Hell” on Iran’s basic civilian infrastructure on Tuesday if the Strait of Hormuz remains closed.

The British Prime Minister has previously made clear that American military access to UK bases should be limited to operations that target Iran’s defense capabilities and could pose a threat to Britain’s interests or its Gulf allies.

He also stated that it was part of the “collective self-defense of long-standing friends and allies and the protection of British lives” and was “in accordance with international law”.
