Starmer defends plans to recognise Palestine as a state but hits out at Hamas

Prime Minister Kier Starmer defended his plan to potentially recognize a Palestinian state.

The authority said that there was a “disgust” about the pain in Gaza and that Britain will recognize a Palestinian state in September unless Israel agrees to meet certain conditions.

These include the handling of the human crisis, the application of the ceasefire and the possibility of a two -state solution.

However, he insisted that the movement did not have a propaganda increase for Hamas and said that the “terrorist organization” could not play “no part in any future government”.

The Prime Minister’s approach was criticized by the Israeli government and a protest on his stance will take place in London at the weekend.

The demonstrators, including some British family members still organized by Hamas, will walk at Downing Street, who wants to released hostages before any conversation about the recognition of Palestine.

When asked whether a public relations increase by talking about recognition of Hamas, Sir Keir said to Channel 5: “They should immediately release the hostages and play a role in Palestine’s governance at any point.”

He said that the hostages taken during the 7 October 2023 attacks were “in terrible conditions, in unimaginable conditions, very long, and Hamas has been a terrorist organization for a very long time, and therefore it is really clear about Hamas”.

Sir Keir added: “Besides, we need to do our best to alleviate the terrible situation in Gaza. We need help on skin and scale.”

People saw “hunger images in Gaza, and added,“ There is a sense of disgust of what the British people could see and see. ”

The government had to do everything we could do to get help to work with other countries “and I have determined our position in recognition in this context”.

“Keir Starmer made a mistake” and “Now we have to focus on a ceasefire and hostages home,” he said.

Israel’s Ambassador of England Tzipi Hototwely said that Hamas’s actions should never be rewarded.
