Todd blanche pam bondi fired: Pam Bondi fired by Donald Trump: Why was she removed? Who is Todd Blanche? Meet new interim Attorney General

Why did Donald Trump fire Pam Bondi?
President Trump was disappointed with the speed with which Bondi prosecuted her critics. Trump was also reportedly disappointed that Bondi did not act quickly enough to bring his critics and opponents to face criminal charges.
In his social media post, Trump praised Bondi as a “Great American Patriot and loyal friend” and said she would move on to a job in the private sector.
During his time as the top official in U.S. law enforcement, Bondi was a combative defender of Trump’s agenda, dismantling the Justice Department’s long tradition of independence from the White House in its investigations.
But his tenure has been dominated by repeated criticism of the Epstein files, including from Trump allies and some Republican lawmakers. Bondi was accused of covering up or mishandling the release of records related to the Justice Department’s sex trafficking investigations into Epstein, a financier who developed ties to a number of wealthy and powerful figures.
The issue has created political headaches for Trump and prompted re-examination of his past friendship with Epstein, which he said ended decades ago. His removal could prompt a change in the Justice Department’s strategy, potentially leading to an effort to re-engage the U.S. legal system against Trump’s goals.
Who is Todd Blanche?
Bondi was Attorney General while Todd Blanche was Deputy Attorney General. Blanche is also Trump’s former personal attorney.
“Todd Blanche, our Deputy Attorney General and a very talented and respected Legal Mind, will serve as Deputy Attorney General,” Trump said in his post on the Truth Social platform. he said.
Blanche was one of the personal attorneys who defended Trump in the numerous criminal cases he faced after leaving the presidency in 2021.
