Kyle says Argentina players’ Falklands banner totally inappropriate

Good morning. Conventional wisdom has it that when a Prime Minister announces that he will resign, all his powers vanish faster than water flowing down an open blockage. In general, this is true. But in the last week Keir Starmer He appears to be acting with a determination that has eluded him for much of his time in office: finalizing the defense investment plan; delivering the long-awaited apology to victims of forced adoption; excessive judgment on the security services to grant privilege that endangered the Hillsborough bill; and eventually granting a conditional pardon for Ruth Ellis.
This is not happening because being on the way out makes a Prime Minister more powerful. But this helps them focus and forces them to stop rambling.
And today we saw another example. On his last day as Labor leader, Starmer nationalized British Steel.
