State Government puts nine huge vacant lots at Bentley Technology Park on market

State Government releases nine vacant plots in state-of-the-art land Bentley Technology Park for sale.

The site is close to the Perth CBD and neighboring Curtin University and is home to more than 100 organizations working in the science, engineering and technology industries.

Lot sizes range from 2028 m2 to 3309 m2 and are aimed at businesses engaged in research and development activities, including laboratories, data centers and education-focused operations.

Organizations already based in the area include the CSIRO and the Pawsey Supercomputing Centre.

The district’s growth will be guided by the newly prepared district structure plan, which aims to support coordinated restructuring.

Planning and Lands Minister John Carey said the release would help support the state’s innovation economy.

“Through the allocation of land at the Bentley Technology Park, the Cook Labor Government is actively supporting the advancement of innovation, research and technology-led industries,” he said.

“Our government is focused on releasing more residential and commercial land to support the state’s growing population and strong economy.”

Science and Innovation Minister Stephen Dawson said the land allocation would support employment and future investment in the sector.

“This land release is an exciting opportunity that builds on the Cook Labor Government’s ongoing commitment to growing and improving the Bentley Technology Park, as well as supporting more jobs in the innovation sector,” he said.

“Investing in regions where research and innovation talent is concentrated is an important part of our 10-year innovation strategy to become a renowned global hub for invention, investment, innovation and impact.”

Victoria Park MLA Hannah Beazley said the area played an important role in the local community.

“This land allocation gives more innovators the chance to establish themselves in the Park, providing more job opportunities locally and helping to grow the industries of the future,” he said.

Bids for lots will end on Saturday, May 30.
