Trump says he’ll ‘always be friends’ with Modi; ‘nothing to worry’ about India-U.S. ties

Among the tariffs between Washington and Delhi and the current tensions on the acquisition of Russian oil, US President Donald Trump said that India and the United States have a “special relationship ve and that there was nothing to worry about as” moments of time “of the two countries.
“I will always be friends with Modi (Narendra)… He’s a great prime minister. He’s great. But I don’t like what he’s doing at this moment. But India and the United States have a special relationship. There’s nothing to worry about. We’re just having moments.”

The President answered the question of whether the ties between the two countries have been hugging under the worst stages for more than twenty years.
Mr Trump also said that India will receive “too much oil” from Russia.
“I was very disappointed that India would buy a lot of oil from Russia and I reported it to them. We put a very high tariff and a very high tariff in India.

Meanwhile, Peter Navarro, the Senior Consultant of Trade and Production of Trump Administration, said that India’s highest tariffs cost US affairs in a mission in X.
Navarro said, “India is buying Russian oil for profit/income.
National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett, Mr. Trump and the trade team, India’s Russia’s Ukrainian war, “financing” was disappointed to continue, he said.
Hassett told journalists at the White House on Friday, “The trade team and President were disappointed to finance Russia’s Ukrainian war, and I hope a diplomatic issue that will soon be a positive development.”
