Meghan wrote letter to King Charles ‘complaining about royal rules’ | Royal | News

Meghan Markle reportedly tried to make private contact with King Charles to ask why she was banned from doing certain things while she was a royal. Since Meghan decided to step down from her official role in 2020, she has been criticized for publicly voicing her thoughts about her time as a member of the Firm.
It was reported that Meghan tried to resolve the difficulties she was experiencing behind closed doors with a letter to her father-in-law. In the message, Meghan is said to have complained about the “different rules” she must follow when carrying out royal duties compared to other members of the royal family.
Speech in a previously uploaded video his YouTube channelveteran royal watcher Neil Sean claimed Meghan “wanted answers” from the King.
Mr Sean said: “Meghan Markle wants some answers from His Majesty the King. She tried to arrange a meeting with him, sent him a letter and asked for a one-on-one to fully explain the problems she has faced since becoming a member of the British monarchy.”
He added that Meghan felt she was treated differently from other extended family members, such as Sarah Ferguson.
Mr Sean added: “What really angers Meghan is that Fergie is appearing on programs such as ITV daytime show This Morning, Loose Women and introducing herself as the Duchess of York, selling books and possibly doing advertising under the Royal Family.
“Meghan and Harry apparently don’t understand why it’s a different rule for her.”
Five years after stepping away from royal life, Meghan and Harry are living in California with their children Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four.
The couple spent their seventh Christmas away from the royal family and their sixth in the US.
Meghan and Harry will reportedly spend the New Year on holiday with friends.
