Storage Wars star Darrell Sheets died by suicide on Wednesday at the age of 67.
The TV personality appeared on the A&E reality series for 163 episodes, which began in 2010.
The Lake Havasu Police Department in Arizona said in a press release obtained by the Daily Mail that Sheets appeared to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
In the early morning hours of Wednesday, law enforcement responded to a call at his home regarding a deceased person.
Sheets was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was later taken to the Mohave County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Lake Havasu Police stated that “the incident is under active investigation and will be released as additional information becomes available.”

After retirement, Sheets resided in Arizona and also operated an antique store called Havasu Show Me Your Junk.
He frequently posted about the store on his Instagram page, and his last post was uploaded shortly before Christmas in December 2025.
Sheets shared images of the signs being delivered to the store and encouraged fans to stop by at the time.
The late star appeared on Storage Wars for 13 seasons, with his last appearance on the series in 2023.
He has also made guest appearances on other shows such as Rachael Ray and The Tonight Show With Jay Leno.
Sheets has also been candid about his health, revealing on Instagram in 2019 that he had a ‘mild heart attack’.
“Here we go, I wasn’t going to say anything but you’re all best friends and fans,” she wrote alongside a photo of herself resting in a hospital bed.
‘I have been very ill for 3 months and had a mild heart attack two nights ago. ‘I found out I have congestive heart failure and a serious problem with my lungs.’
