Princess Beatrice appeared “nervous” due to the fallout from her parents’ Epstein scandal as she stepped out with sister Princess Eugenie in a rare joint appearance in London, a body language expert has claimed. Beatrice, 37, and Eugenie, 36, were spotted grabbing lunch in Mayfair, but the outing came amid the ongoing unrest surrounding their parents Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.

The sisters were seen walking around the capital after dining at an exclusive resort; one eyewitness noted that they appeared “in great spirits as they made the most of the sunlight.”

But sources suggest that beneath the smiles, the pressure in recent months has taken its toll, particularly on Beatrice, who is thought to be struggling to balance family loyalties alongside her position within the Royal Family.

The image represents the first time the York siblings have been photographed together in London in months, following the scandal that consumed their family earlier this year. reports the Mirror.

Hours later, Eugenie put on a brave face as she left husband Jack Brooksbank for a date night in Notting Hill, while the pair were seen smiling as they left the Michelin-starred restaurant. Body language analyst Judi James told the Mirror: “While Eugenie appears at ease in front of the cameras, putting on a show of resilience and courage, with a broad wall-to-wall smile suggesting life is anything but perfect, her older sister Beatrice seems less adept at bluffing here, her gestures and facial expressions implying she’s been hit hard by the consequences of their parents’ drama.”

“Here Beatrice walks behind her sister, dressed in a very sombre black on a sunny, hot day, her choice of clothing reflecting her desire to avoid attracting attention.

“She has her large bag tucked in front of her body in a barrier movement, with one hand held on the front of the bag, indicating a desire to protect herself. In another photo, she has her arms folded over her torso, which could be a sign of vulnerability.”

“Her facial expression looks tense and unhappy. Her eyes have a sinister look and her lips are closed. Eugenie appears to be trying to maintain a more carefree demeanor here; she looks particularly cheerful as she walks alongside her equally over-smiling husband, Jack.”

While their father Andrew withdrew from public life, their mother Sarah Ferguson maintained a similarly low profile.

According to MailOnline, a royal insider previously revealed that Beatrice found herself “walking a tightrope”, torn between supporting her parents and protecting her own reputation. Meanwhile, Eugenie appears to have adopted a more committed position, but both sisters remain close and supportive of each other during this difficult period.

The pair’s public appearances remained out of the spotlight for months as the scandal continued to dominate headlines, with both largely avoiding public engagement.

Despite the ongoing adversity, the sisters are expected to continue to attend selected royal engagements; Insider information indicates that the King continues to firmly support his nephews. This was despite the duo’s recent decision to forego joining the King and others for Easter.
