Bad Bunny left ‘devastated’ over VERY awkward exchange with Lady Gaga at the Grammys

Bad Bunny was left “devastated” after his awkward “fanboy” moment with Lady Gaga at the 2026 Grammy Awards, a body language expert has claimed.
The 31-year-old Puerto Rican rapper took home the Album of the Year award at the star-studded ceremony held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday evening.
While the singer, who wore a stylish Schiaparelli tuxedo, looked cool and confident throughout the event, his slightly uncomfortable interaction with Gaga in the audience has now gone viral.
In a clip viewed nearly two million times on X, formerly Twitter, Bunny was seen sitting in her seat during the ceremony when Gaga, 39, approached him from behind and touched him on the shoulder.
The I Like It singer looked surprised when he touched her and she jumped before turning around to see who it was.
After her shocked reaction to his embrace, Gaga whispered something in his ear and quickly left while Bunny appeared to be looking at him longingly.
Body language expert Judi James exclusively analyzed the brief exchange with the Daily Mail, revealing that Bad Bunny was horrified that he ‘missed the opportunity to chat’ with the Bad Romance singer.
‘[Gaga] James said he went out of his way to congratulate Bad Bunny instead of pulling rank and asking for it to be sent to him or waiting until he found him.

‘This is a flattering gesture for Bad Bunny, but approaching from behind seems to spook him.
‘When Gaga taps him on the shoulder, his hands jerk up in the air as if he thinks the Grim Reaper has visited the place.
‘The jerking movement of the open fingers indicates genuine fear or surprise at the moment, and then she looks the wrong way and finally turns her head and notices him.’
James explained that Bad Bunny had an obvious ‘fanboy’ reaction when he realized who was touching him.
‘He’s literally in a blackout of pleasure,’ he continued. ‘Gaga kisses his cheek but then walks off into the night, leaving him devastated that he missed the opportunity to chat.
‘In a very sweet gesture, he turns his head to look at his neighbours, as if to check that he is not dreaming and that they are seeing him too.’
James added that Bunny “may have dressed and posed like celebrity royalty” at the event, but her demeanor and interactions with her A-list peers came across as “understated.”

Gaga broke down in tears during Bad Bunny’s acceptance speech, where he made a series of political statements.
‘Before I say thank God, I’ll say ICE out,’ he said. ‘We are not savages. We are not animals. We are not aliens. ‘We are people and we are Americans.’
Gaga later told Entertainment Tonight about her reaction: ‘It’s incredibly important what it means to people. He is an excellent musician and human being.
‘I thought what you said was incredibly important and inspiring. ‘What is happening in this country is incredibly heartbreaking and we are so lucky to have leaders like him who speak out for what is right and true.’
