The Germani Jewelers store at Sydney’s Hilton Hotel was robbed by two men who tied the owner Michel Germani and working Lana Al-Khoury in January 2023.

Germani will face a crime against the charges in 2026 after a jury could not reach a decision after a hearing of an NSW Regional Court earlier this year.
Meanwhile, he asked for guarantee to win a fund to meet the upcoming hearing.
However, his application was rejected on Monday at the NSW Regional Court.
When Judge Miiko Kumar was rejected several times in the Supreme Court and refused to hear the application, he found that there were no new special facts or conditions that justified giving German bail.
The judge said, “If I found that I had the authority to hear this bail application or to hear the application for release, then I will reject it.” He said.

Germani was found guilty of defrauding insurance companies and allegedly making the wrong statement to the police about the gradual robbery.
Judge Kumar, “As sent, a stupid, a series,” a series. ” He said.
Germani’s lawyer Matthew Kalyk said that his client was already facing a long hearing, which was already “financially destructive”, so his wife had to return to Coco.
The lawyer said that Germani has been detained for nearly two years and that he had a loving family in Australia, so there was no risk of escaping from the country in front of his lawyer.
He said that the jewelery store owner had a “stupid insurance fraud action”, but that this was a “one -time action” and that he could revive it.
However, the crown prosecutor Cate Dodds argued that it should not be guaranteed because it was a real risk to escape, commit more crimes or intervene in evidence.
Authorized, the risk of flight, especially in cases of non -withdrawal jewels, he said.
Judge Kumar was also informed that he had connections to the overseas judicial region without Germany’s return regulations.
