After Trisha, Nayanthara, Vijay, this Tamil actress receives bomb threat; Tamil Nadu Police takes strict action

Tamil actress Sakshi Agarwal on Tuesday thanked the Tamil Nadu Police for their quick response to a bomb threat lodged at her home and office. The actor wrote on timeline X: “Thank you @tnpoliceoffl #tndgp for your due diligence and prompt response to the Bomb Threat to my home and office! We are safe my fans and the bomb threat is being investigated!”
Sources close to the actor say that the threat was made via mail and the police took immediate action to neutralize the threat against the star. Sakshi Agarwal became the latest celebrity to receive such a bomb threat. In fact, actresses Trisha, Nayanthara and actor-politician Vijay are also among those who have received such threats recently.
The bomb threat made to Trisha and Nayanthara at the beginning of the month turned out to be false. Sources said that the police took action as soon as they received the information and quickly reached his house in Teynampet. Police personnel, along with search dogs, conducted an extensive search of their home but realized that the threats were false.
Several such threats were sent to Vijay’s home. A bomb threat was made to his house in Neelankarai a few days ago, prompting the police to launch an investigation. After the Karur tragedy, another threat has come to the superstar. Both threats turned out to be fake.
Sources added that prominent figures like Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and opposition leader Edappadi K Palanisamy had also received similar threats earlier. Last month, a bomb threat against former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami’s house in Chennai had triggered concerns.
Although the threats have been declared fabricated, the Tamil Nadu police are leaving no stone unturned to find out those behind such threats, there has been a significant increase in such threats in recent times.
