The 100 best pubs in Britain have been revealed; Is your local listed? The list was put together by Good Food Guide In partnership with Timothy Taylor’s Landlord, it rewards some of the best boozers the country has to offer.

The bars judged were nominated by the public between 26 August and 9 September. They were then “carefully inspected” before the Good Food Guide team forwards it to editors for consideration,” the organization explains on its website.

When launching the campaign, Good Food Guide said businesses with a good chance would be:

• Fabulous cooking cues that preserve the spirit of a pub
• Bars where drinkers are welcomed as warmly as diners
• Where patrons can relax with real ales, a curated wine list and homemade bar snacks
• Places where menus change regularly, seasons are followed and quality local suppliers are used

12 pubs in London have received approval, including The Eagle in Farringdon, often hailed as the country’s first gastropub.

However, although most are in England, the vast majority live in smaller towns outside the capital.

The publication also awarded the Reader’s Choice Award to the pub with the most nominations. This year’s recipient was Broad Chare in Newcastle; a popular store located in a converted warehouse on the quayside.

In the list below, you’ll find a variety of establishments, from luxurious venues favored by celebrities and royals to more casual rustic venues.
