Thousands without power, cut off as ‘massive’ snowfall blankets northern NSW
Vehicles swamp, telephone service has been cut and thousands of residents are expected to be weak at least 24 hours after NSW covered with violent snow.
According to the Meteorological Bureau, some of the northern tablewoods of the state recorded heavy snow up to 40 cm at the weekend.
Bom Meteorologist Helen Reid, Abdominal Guyra, Armidale, Uralla and Walcha towns carried to the towns of “cold air pool” said it was produced.

NSW Sound replied after leaving drivers stranded on snow -covered roads
NSW Sound Commissioner Nicole Hagan said that emergency services in the New England region responded to treacherous traffic conditions caused by “Black Ice olan, a term used to describe slippery, transparent ice formation on the roads.
“We have ready and ready -made road accident teams, but we want the community to avoid unnecessary travel,” he said.
