Surrey Police to examine child abuse claim in Epstein files that names Andrew

Surrey Police said they were seeking information about alleged child abuse in the latest section of the Epstein files that implicated Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The U.S. Department of Justice last week made more than 11,000 files, totaling more than 30,000 pages, available for download on its website related to the investigations into convicted pedophiles Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

The pieces of paperwork include a file containing a statement from a 35-year-old man who claimed they were drugged and taken by their father to “paedophile hazing ring parties” in Surrey when they were between the ages of six and eight.

The alleged victim’s statement to the FBI alleges that the incident occurred in the mid-1990s. They claim they were taken to Frogmore Cottage, where they were tied to a table and “tortured with electric shocks” by Maxwell, surrounded by men watching.

“I remember seeing Prince Andrew’s face,” the person said in the statement, where the complainant’s name has been redacted.

Surrey Police said in a statement that it could find no evidence of the allegations in the file. Police said: “After reviewing our systems using the limited information available to us, we have found no evidence that these allegations have been reported to Surrey Police. We are therefore contacting the relevant agencies to gain access to the corrected information.”

“We take all reports of child abuse seriously and encourage anyone with information about these allegations to report it to us online or via 101.”

Andrew, who has always denied any wrongdoing regarding Epstein or Maxwell, has been contacted for comment.

Earlier this week, it was also revealed in the latest release of the Epstein files that the FBI wanted to interview Andrew as part of its investigation into wealthy sex offender Peter Nygard, who was sentenced last year to 11 years in prison for sexually assaulting four women between the late 1980s and 2005.

A letter to UK authorities in April 2020 requests that Andrew participate in a voluntary interview regarding both the Epstein and Nygard investigations.

Andrew has faced intense scrutiny over the past few months over his connections to Epstein; This was further escalated by the publication of a publication repeating claims that Virginia Giuffre had sex with him in her youth. Andrew has always denied the allegations.

In October it was announced that Andrew would be stripped of his title of “prince” and would be asked to leave his Royal Lodge residence in Windsor.
