Suspect identified in Monaco parcel bombing

A suspect has been identified in the investigation into a package bomb that seriously injured a sanctioned Ukrainian multimillionaire and two others in Monaco.

The Monaco prosecutor’s office announced that an arrest warrant has been issued for the suspect, who is said to be a foreign national and no longer in Monaco. They added that Interpol’s red notice has also been issued.

The package left at the entrance of an apartment building exploded shortly after on Monday evening.

No detailed information was given about the suspect. CCTV cameras captured a figure wearing a dark hat, and French media reported that this person was a Ukrainian woman in her 30s.
