Sweet Success: KMF’s Nandini records ₹46 crore sales during Dasara-Diwali season

The Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) on Tuesday announced a significant achievement, reporting that the Nandini confectionery brand recorded sales of 1,100 metric tonnes and generated a remarkable revenue of 1,100 million tonnes. ₹46 crore in the last Dasara and Diwali festival season.
This result marks a significant 38% increase in turnover compared to last year’s equivalent festival period and represents a significant new milestone for the cooperative dairy network, KMF said in a statement.
The federation had initially set a conservative target of 1,000 metric tonnes for this year, following the successful sale of 725 metric tonnes the previous year. ₹33.48 crore.
The Federation attributed this remarkable success to extensive pre-festival logistics planning and close coordination with its member milk unions to ensure they could meet the increased consumer demand for confectionery during the festival.
“We reached an impressive total turnover of 1,100 metric tonnes of sugar. ₹46 crore is a proud milestone for KMF and our member unions,” the statement said, adding that the record reflects the purity, quality and trust that Nandini products have earned among consumers over the years.
KMF supplies one million liters of milk per day from farmers
Procuring around one million liters of milk per day from farmers in Karnataka, the federation currently sells around 65 lakh liters of liquid milk, curd and Ultra High Temperature (UHT) milk every day across the state and other markets outside the district.
Under the Nandini label, KMF has a portfolio of over 175 different dairy products, including ghee, butter, paneer, milk powder, desserts and beverages. These products are widely available not only in Karnataka but also in many other Indian states including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Goa, Kerala, Delhi and Assam as well as select overseas destinations.
“This remarkable achievement is a testament to the unity, hard work and dedication of the dairy farming community of Karnataka,” KMF said.
Last month, the Karnataka Cooperative Milk Producers Federation revised the price list of Nandini dairy products following the implementation of GST reforms.
