Urgent action needed as UK antisemitism is ‘off the charts’, says charity boss

A leading charity dedicated to protecting the Jewish community issued a sharp warning stating that anti -Semitism was allowed to ‘development’ from politicians and wider society in the UK.
Community Security Trust Policy Director Dave Rich claimed that since the October 7 attacks, mosque sermons were “outside the graphics”.
He also criticized social media platforms, regulators and political figures for their collective failures for the proliferation of anti -Semitic messaging.
Mr Rich said to the BBC Radio 4’s Today program: “Anti -Jewish hatred and extremism and incentive levels have been allowed to grow in the last few years.
“I think this is where anger should be directed.
“I think there are many people who can take steps and do better. I think you are looking at the government and the police are the first place.
“But I think you can look at the organizers. I think you can look at some sermons in the mosques after October 7, which was really far from provocative graphics.
“I think you can examine what’s going on on social media every day.
“If people knew how many people were online every day to talk about killing Jews, they would definitely be horrified. And social media platforms do less than they did to deal with it even in the past.
“In my opinion, there is a broader way between civil society and the parts of the industry, reluctance to cope with incentives to allow anti -Semitism or growth.
“I think anger was directed there and I think many Jewish people ‘Okay, sympathy is great, but where is the action?’
