North Andhra’s rapid growth to create more jobs for youth, says Yarlagadda

Former Rajya Sabha member Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad said the North Andhra region will emerge as a major economic hub with the growth of information technology, software, aviation and allied sectors. He said students in the region will have a bright future given the rapid and continuous development.

Mr. Lakshmi Prasad, along with Avanthi Group chairman Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao, attended the closing ceremony of GYAN-2K25 technology festival as the chief guest on Saturday. He appreciated the students who presented innovative projects at the technology festival and advised them to do further research in their chosen fields.

K. Chandra Bhusana Rao, Professor, JNTU-GV and Head, Department of ECE, and P. Ramaraju, Head, Enterprise Architecture, Tata Consultancy Services, spoke about the career opportunities available to engineers trained in various fields. Later, Ms. Lakshmi Prasad and other guests distributed the awards to the winners of the competitions.
