Inequality in India has now taken form of ‘huge social, economic crisis’: Congress

Jairam Ramesh, the Secretary General of the Congress, said that only a few days ago, the Narendra Modi government (PIB) was “bending” the world bank data of the Press Information Bureau (PIB) and that India has become the fourth of the world’s most economically equal.
Ramesh, referring to a report of Hurun India, “All plaintiffs and pompon girls, the country began to spread the tremendous economic equality. However, now that PIB’s claims are thoroughly disgraced, the government and pompon girls should see this latest news,” he said.
Referring to the Hurun Indian Report, Ramesh said that the first five industrial houses of India have equal assets to approximately 18 percent of the GDP of the country, and only the Ambani group has equal reserves for 12.7 percent of GDP.
“The estimated size of the Indian economy is 331 Lakh Crores, only these five families have 60 Lakh Crore. The richness of the first 5 industrial houses is more than the economy of many small countries.” He said.
Congress leader, “There should be no surprise on this issue. For the last 11 years, the prime minister is constantly busy filling the safes of some industrialists of these industrialists. However, the price of this great economic inequality is paid by small and medium -sized industries and the lower and middle classes of India, he said.
“Pockets are empty, savings are zero, and most of the country’s population has nothing to spend. This inequality is now a great social and economic crisis.” He said.
