Brazen shoplifter swipes entire Mini Eggs display from supermarket | News

A thief stole an entire Mini Egg display at a supermarket, along with CCTV from the store’s displays.

Footage shared by South Wales Police on Thursday (May 7) shows Ashley Daley, 39, grabbing the entire display at a Tesco store and boldly walking out the door.

Daley went on a three-week shoplifting spree, targeting various supermarkets in the South Wales and Gwent areas, costing them a total of £4,000.

On February 21, he was stopped by police in a vehicle shortly after committing a burglary earlier that day. Upon his arrest, he also had a kitchen knife in his possession and was arrested for that, among other crimes.

Daley was sentenced to four months in prison on 12 burglary charges, including one count of attempted burglary and possession of a bladed instrument.
